I’m Noah Long, a 31 year-old who’s grown up with various assistive technologies that help me navigate my non-vision world.
I’m a graduate of the Governor Morehead School for the Blind in Raleigh, and various people and organizations have always been supportive of my efforts to be as independent as possible. I currently live in an apartment with some help in the mornings and evenings. I also work at UCP Easter Seals three days a week with the help of a job coach.
I’d like to give back to all those who have helped me over the years by sharing my experiences, or answering questions regarding set up and use of the devices and technologies that I’ve used over the years.
I will do this on a volunteerbasis with the help of the NC Reading Service on Mondays from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
